(Woonsocket, RI) -- An eight-year old boy is recovering at home after falling from a third story porch. The boy fell through a railing at his home on Wood Avenue in Woonsocket around 6:30 p.m. yesterday. Authorities say the boy was taken to the hospital for treatment of a head injury. Police say the boy was able to break his fall by grabbing part of the second floor and some wires on the way down.
