PC POLICE HEADS NORTH

If you're not as familiar with the words to "Oh, Canada" as Boston Garden legend Rene Rancourt is, the English version orIginally read: "Oh, Canada/ our home and native land/ True patriot love/ in all they sons command." Well, Canada's senate has passed a bill making the country's national anthem gender-neutral. It must now receive something called "royal assent" from the governor general before it becomes law.  The move, which apparently has been a topic of controversy up north, was praised by many prominent Canadians including Prime Minister Justin Tredeau. Not everybody's thrilled with the chance. while the bill passed Canada's House of Commons in 2016, this thing spent 18 months under the debate in the Senate. Conservative members of Parliament are livid liberals changed the anthem arguing that some things just shouldn't be changed. The PC police invade Canada. I just hope the change doesn't throw Rene off his game.
