Increased School Security Resolution In Cranston

(Cranston, RI)  --  The Cranston City Council is getting a resolution tonight that calls for greater school security.  Council Republicans want the state to require metal detectors at all public school entrances and armed police officers inside school buildings.  Additionally, council President Michael Farina says a study sub-committee will be established to consider what Cranston can do on its own to reduce the chance of gun violence the city's schools.
