Statements Released After Death Of Barbara Bush

(Undated)  --  Rhode Island politicians are reacting after First Lady Barbara Bush died on Tuesday at the age of 92. Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo released a statement calling Bush an inspiration to generations of Americans who championed causes including civil rights and education. Congressman David Cicilline said he was deeply saddened by the death, and said she devoted her time in the White House to improving literacy for children and adults, among other endeavors. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse said Bush will be remembered for the strength and dignity she demonstrated while serving as First Lady.
