TRUMP'S TWEET UNDER SCRUTINY

President Trump disparaged Congressman Adam Schiff in a tweet yesterday (November 18th) in which he profanely misspelled the California Democrat's name as "Schitt." Schiff, who's set to become the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee in the new Congress in January, has criticized Trump's appointment of Matt Whitaker as acting attorney general because he hasn't been confirmed by the Senate, charging that it's unconstitutional. Trump tweeted: "So funny to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talking about the fact that Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker was not approved by the Senate, but not mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is highly conflicted) was not approved by the Senate!" Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller special counsel for the Russia probe, a position that does not require Senate confirmation. Schiff tweeted a response in which he insinuated Trump's lawyers are writing the answers to questions Mueller submitted for him as part of the investigation, even though the president said Friday that he was writing them. Schiff wrote: "Wow, Mr. President, that's a good one. Was that like your answers to Mr. Mueller's questions, or did you write this one yourself?" Did Trump intentionally mispell Schiff's name? Who knows...Democrats will say yes, The GOP will say it was a fumbling of digits. Listen, my big fat sausage fingers have caused me a few red faced momnets....Hey, Schiff happens.
