Storm Drops Hail, Brings Trees Down

(Undated) -- Stormy weather from Saturday was followed by more of the same yesterday in Rhode Island, dropping hail and causing some tree issues. The storms came in during the afternoon hours. The biggest-recorded hail measurement shared by the National Weather Service was one-and-a-quarter inches in diameter in Warwick; significant hail was also reported in Burrillville and Cranston. Trees and wires were reported down on Route 1 in South Kingstown.
