(Pawtucket, RI)--The arrest in a Pawtucket cold case murder on Thursday is the first arrest for the cases that were put on a deck of playing cards last year.The Pawtucket Police Department followed a concept that was being used in other states and released the card decks featuring the victims of unsolved cases for sale to inmates at the ACI.Joao Monteiro of Central Falls was arrested for the 1988 murder of ten-year-old Pawtucket girl Christine Cole, who was the queen of hearts in the deck.However, police say DNA testing, not a tip, led to the arrest.
