Amazon may be a big deal, but its CEO isn’t.
The online retail giant has a Future Engineers computer science class in a Washington, DC school, so CEO Jeff Bezos and some of the company’s programmers visited the students. He was a surprise guest speaker, and surprisingly, unknown to almost all of the students.
Video of the class captured one boy asking “Who’s Jeff Bezos?” When finding out that he’s Amazon’s top dog, the kid responds with “Big deal? So what?” The video went viral and the teacher checked with her students to see how many knew who the guy named richest man in the world actually was. Only three did!
