A Providence murder defendant is being sentenced to life in the ACI.
The Rhode Island Attorney General's Office says Andrew Mangru of Providence received consecutive life terms for the fatal shooting of Andrei Bonilla on August 28th, 2021.
Prosecutors say Mangru committed a domestic assault on his ex-girlfriend before shooting Bonilla outside of a residence on Harwol Court.
Bonilla then crashed in the parking lot of the Cumberland Farms store on Branch Avenue.
Attorney General Peter Neronha called the murder a case of senseless gun violence.
