Driver In High-Speed Chase Faces A Hundred Charges

A Florida man who faces more than 100 criminal charges made his first appearance in court Monday.

Joshua Pavao of Kissimmee, Florida is accused of firing shots into a parked car in East Providence last Friday, then leading police on a high-speed chase that caused a series of crashes.

The 43-year-old Pavao was eventually captured, and police picked up several firearms, body armor, numerous high-capacity magazines, and nearly one thousand rounds of ammunition.

Surety bail was set at 100-thousand-dollars, with conditions. He is next due in court on March 18th.
