Pawtucket Gets Settlement Money From Opioid Industry

Pawtucket is launching an opioid settlement grant program.

The city has been granted more than one-point-seven-million-dollars, which will be released through 2038.

The funds come from nearly 330-million-dollars received by the state through settlements with opioid manufacturers and distributors.

Funding will be used for treatment, recovery, and prevention efforts.
