Sally is the president of Residential Properties Ltd, and host of “Real Estate Insight.” Her involvement in the real estate business began over 25 years ago when her mother, one of the state’s top real estate producers, encouraged Sally to get her license and rent apartments. At the time, the art gallery Sally was working at had just closed and she was preparing to attend graduate school. In the interim, she took her mother’s advice, got her license, and quickly sold several houses to which her mother exclaimed, “Honey, I think you found your calling!”
In 1981, Sally co-founded Residential Properties Ltd. with Liz Chace. Taking majority ownership in 1997, she expanded the company to over 140 full-time sales associates with offices in Providence, Barrington, Cumberland, East Greenwich Newport, and Wakefield, as well as corporate offices and relocation offices in Smithfield, all operating to make Residential Properties one of the state’s premier real estate companies. Residential Properties is also affiliated with Whos Who in Luxury real Estate and Relo, the international relocation network.
Rhode Island is where Sally’s family roots are and she says, “I love the intellectual community that springs out of all the wonderful universities and colleges in the state. I love the arts, the diversity, the restaurants, the museums, the theater and the architecture in this state.” Sally supports many of the non-profits that make this state thrive. She currently serves on the board of Roger Williams University. “I believe that it is alright to be a taker in your 20’s but once you hit 30, you have an obligation to give back,” says Sally.
As an expert in the Real Estate field, Sally is on the Ethics and Arbitration Committee for the Greater Providence Board of Realtors. She is often quoted in the Providence Journal, Providence Business News, WJAR, Channel 12 News, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
