Helen Glover

Weekdays on Talk Radio 920 WHJJ from 12pm to 3pm

Helen Glover was chosen from over 65,000 applicants to participate in the hit CBS series Survivor:
Thailand. As a cast member, Helen survived to the Final Four, eventually done in by a conspiracy led by the eventual winner. However, Helen did emerge as one of the most popular and respected members of the cast. Her on-camera interviews were entertaining as well as insightful. Helen’s wit showed through, even under the most stressful circumstances and she became the “go to” person when the producers were looking for an articulate, well thought out analysis of the game. In the final show, Helen’s exit speech and questions to the Finalists will be the standard to which all that follow will be measured.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Helen is the daughter of a U.S. Marine and moved almost every year while growing up. She has lived in Hawaii, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, California, Louisiana, and Rhode Island. Helen was most recently employed by the U.S. Navy as a water survival instructor. That position required that she be physically fit and she is a model of fitness for middle-aged women. This experience (combined with her tenacity and mental toughness) provides her with the inspiration and motivation to tackle talk radio’s toughest issues.

Helen lives in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, with her husband, Jim, and their daughter, Katherine (Kiki). She has two additional children, Matthew, a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps, and stepdaughter, Erin. They have three cats, Ralph, Bert and Simba.
